A great way to pick up summer produce, the Fallon Farmers market also had a tasting and information station where you can learn about local specialty crops, their health benefits and how to enjoy them. A free raffle ticket will also be given to any market participant with the prize of a specialty crop basket.

The Fallon Cantaloupe Festival is dedicated to providing agricultural information in Nevada. The fair spans several days and includes carnival rides, two country concerts and a chance to taste various cantaloupe recipes at the Cantaloupe Corral. Admission is $7 and includes all stage entertainment.
