YEAR-ROUND: Special Enrollment Periods
Outside of the Open Enrollment Period you may be able to enroll in health insurance through a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) if you experience a qualifying life event, such as: losing health insurance , changing marital status, moving to a different area, and having a baby.
YEAR-ROUND: Window Shopping
Open Enrollment begins in November, but you can start browsing and comparing plans with Nevada Health Link any time*! This period allows you to prepare for open enrollment and anonymously window shop to browse the health insurance plans available to you. Explore the different plans, as well as details about monthly premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, co-payments, and coinsurance amounts.

NOVEMBER 1 – DECEMBER 31: Open Enrollment
Nevada Health Link’s Open Enrollment period is a yearly period when people can enroll in a Marketplace health insurance plan. The Open Enrollment period is November 1–December 31. Coverage starts on January 1.
