Quality Systems Rating (QRS)
In August 2019, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a bulletin announcing the requirement that State Based Exchanges (SBEs) publicly display quality rating information for all applicable Qualified Health Plan (QHP) issuers. The quality rating information details Quality Rating System (QRS) ratings and enrollee satisfaction surveys for eligible QHPs. The QRS is based on relative quality and price and requires the display of QHP quality ratings on the Nevada Health Link Exchange website to assist in consumer selection of plans.
QHP issuers are required to submit quality rating information to CMS on an annual basis which will allow CMS to calculate the quality performance for the QHPs offered. QHP issuers are given an opportunity to submit inquiries to CMS regarding the ratings prior to the public display of the results.
Nevada Health Link is only able to publish star ratings for QHP issuers who have received a star rating from CMS. Select from the below options for more information on the Quality Star Ratings and Enrollee Satisfaction Survey results.

Issuer Rate and Benefit Information
Pursuant to 45 CFR § 155.1020 Nevada Health Link requires Qualified Health Plan (QHP) issuers with rate increases to prominently post the justification for consumer review. Other information related to the rate review process can be found by visiting the Nevada Division of Insurance website.
